"Kenney wrote the invective last Wednesday at 5:02 p.m. in response to an email sent from the office of MP Blaine Calkins, chairman of the federal Conservatives Alberta caucus, who wanted to know if Kenney and other MPs from Alberta would meet with Lukaszuk.
"Honourable Thomas Lukaszuk, deputy premier of Alberta will be in Ottawa on Thursday, June 21st, 2012 and is requesting a lunch or dinner with caucus,” says the email written by Calkins’ legislative assistant at 4:57 p.m. “Mr. Calkins will not be able to host this event as he has prior commitments, but would like to see if there is any caucus member who would be willing to host this event for the deputy premier.”
"Kenney shot back a response just five minutes later, but instead of sending it only to Calkins’ office, he inadvertently sent it to everyone in the 26-member federal Alberta caucus, plus assistants: “I say a definite ‘no’ to Lukaszyk. I don’t think it makes sense to create a precedent to do a special caucus meeting for every visiting minister from the provincial government. Plus he is a complete and utter asshole.”

A single liter of spilled oil- will or has the potential to contaminate a million liters of groundwater. These figures are taken from Alberta, and Enbridge is proposing putting a line through earthquake country, such as BC. The breaks are guaranteed to be higher there than in Alberta. This has got to be stopped
Yeah, Canada, stop fooling the world. Be honest for a change!
I only wish that the country would wake up, as well as the world, to the global disaster that is approaching on a minute-by-minute basis
Lived in Alberta for 6 years...couldn't stand it. didn't like the sour gas smells and for a big part the attitudes there
We definitely need a national government organization to ensure that green house gases and pollution is monitored and controlled and that we take decisons which are based on sustainable development. no doubt Alberta considers their right to pollute and destroy the environment as a libertarian right. This does not excuse Quebec, B.C., Ontario and other provinces for their actions against the environment.

Oil pipe lines are NOT benign ... they leak, they explode, they do enormous damage which can take years from which to recover.

Dear Ezra Levant,
You have been the penultimate model Canadian to the point I don't even think an Order of Canada or Senate Seat would ever say or be enough.
Therefore, on behalf of 35 million-something Canadians, I have taken the initiative and designed a new Canadian flag with YOUR initial.
This will forever eulogize just how much we all love you.
